The Certificate in Technical Studies in Domestic A/C Refrigeration specializes in teaching students the procedures to diagnose and repair domestic refrigerators and freezers, as well as the operation, diagnosis, and science of room air conditioning.
Learning Outcomes:
Recipients of a Certificate of Technical Studies in Domestic Air Condition and Refrigeration will be able to demonstrate:
- knowledge of the tools, equipment, and facilities necessary to service and maintain domestic and/or residential air conditioning and refrigeration units.
- various methods of ensuring workplace safety and professional work habits.
- ability to identify various types of pipes, tubing, and fittings.
- the proper procedures to diagnose and repair domestic refrigerators and freezers.
- the operation, diagnosis, and science of room air conditioning.
