The Associate of Applied Science in Communication Media with a concentration in Photography prepares students to apply technical skills and practical problem-solving techniques to a variety of real world applications. Learning Outcomes:
There are five concentrations in the Associate of Applied Science in Communication Media: Mass Communication, Sound and Music Recording, Graphic Design/Computer Animation, Photography, and Multimedia. Recipients of the degree in the Associate of Applied Science in Communication Media will have demonstrated:
A. Recognize and employ the dynamics of collaboration to produce communication media projects.
B. Apply principles of communication media to create effective and engaging content, including the importance of storytelling, audience analysis, and production values.
C. Demonstrate proficiency in oral, written, and mediated communication.
D. Apply communication principles and theories to address complex real-world problems impacting diverse communities.
