YINF 136 - PENTEST+ BOOTCAMP

This PenTest+ bootcamp is designed for faculty and students to master the skills necessary to perform penetration testing and vulnerability management. The bootcamp will cover the objectives of CompTIA’s Pentest+ certification as well as provide real-world scenarios how to protect a network from threat agents. Some security training (Security+) is preferred before taking this course. Other topics covered will be:

* How to plan and scope a penetration test
* Cover legal and compliance issues
* Perform vulnerability assessments using tools such as OpenVAS, Nessus
* Perform penetration testing using tools such as Metasploit
* Perform a written report of findings
* Communicating the results to customer
