YHET 117 - EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT)

This noncredit course is designed to prepare the student to function competently as an Emergency Medical Technician. The course also prepares the student to sit for the National Registry practical examinations which is required to become an EMT in the State of Louisiana. The student will learn how to assess and treat patients with a variety of injuries or illnesses in the out-of-hospital environment.
