YTRA 105 - COMMERCIAL VEHICLE OPERATIONS

This course 240-hour (80 hours of lecture/160 hours of lab) course prepares the learner for the knowledge exam and the three portions of the skills test to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Enrollment in the course is contingent upon clearance of health and safety checks. First week of class does not require the Commercial Learner’s Permit(CLP), however, CLP must be obtained in order to continue in the course. CDL exam is included in the cost of the course. Department of Transportation (DOT) physical, drug screen, background check, and CLP application fee are not included in the cost of the course. Upon completion of the course and passing both parts of the CDL exam, the learner must apply with the State Office of Motor Vehicles to obtain CDL.
