Customer Service Specialist, CTS


The Customer Service Specialist Certificate of Technical Studies program prepares individuals to work directly with customers answering questions or addressing concerns regarding company products and services. Duties include communicating and engaging with customers in-person and virtually, filling out customer feedback forms, participating in strategic customer service meetings, and being knowledgeable about company products and/or services to best help customers.

Learning Outcomes:

Recipients of the Certificate of Technical Studies in Customer Service Specialist will have demonstrated:

  1. learn to effectively communicate and engage with customers.
  2. understand the key aspects of products and/or services.
  3. learn to troubleshoot technical and/or nontechnical issues to solve customer problems
  4. practice professionalism and soft skills in a real-world setting.
  5. understand the importance of an effective feedback loop relaying customer issues to product development teams and service providers.
