Domestic Air Condition and Refrigeration, CTS (Natchitoches Campus)

The Certificate in Technical Studies in Domestic A/C Refrigeration specializes in teaching students the procedures to diagnose and repair domestic refrigerators and freezers, as well as the operation, diagnosis, and science of room air conditioning. 

Learning Outcomes:

Recipients of a Certificate of Technical Studies in Domestic Air Condition and Refrigeration will be able to demonstrate:

1. knowledge of the tools, equipment, and facilities necessary to service and maintain domestic and/or residential air conditioning and refrigeration units.
2. various methods of ensuring workplace safety and professional work habits.
3. ability to identify various types of pipes, tubing, and fittings.
4. the proper procedures to diagnose and repair domestic refrigerators and freezers.
5. the operation, diagnosis, and science of room air conditioning.
