The degree program is designed to provide a structured sequence of study for orientation into the field of Health Care Management and a solid foundation for the future completion of a four-year degree in the same or similar field of study. This program articulates with one or more institutions or agencies. Learning Outcomes:

Recipients of the Associate of Science in Health Care Management (Health Studies concentration) will have demonstrated:

  1. application of management theory to hypothetical healthcare situations.
  2. utilization of innovative technologies in the management of healthcare information.
  3. successful interpretation and conveyance of technical information using both written and oral forms of communication.
  4. application of mathematic operations in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data.
  5. comprehension and application of transferable general education skills.

Second Semester: 15 Hours


Total Credit Hours: 60


Students must make a “C” or higher in prerequisite courses before enrolling in any given course.
