The introductory semester of a two-semester problem-centered study in general physics. Designed for science and pre-medical majors requiring algebraic- and trigonometric-based solutions. Includes a study of vectors, kinematics, Newton’s Laws, momentum, work and energy, rotations, oscillations and waves, elasticity and equilibrium, and thermodynamics.
