The Graphic Design Career and Technical Certificate (CTC) is designed for students interested in the area of graphic design. The curriculum is designed to prepare students to be creative professionals utilizing industry standard technology and techniques to generate commercial designs and digital art.

Required courses

COMM 216:Adobe Photoshop Credit Hours: 3
COMM 218:Adobe Illustrator Credit Hours: 3
COMM 219:Applied Graphic Design Credit Hours: 3
COMM 223:Publication Design Credit Hours: 3

Total Credit Hours: 12

Students must meet prerequisites before taking any given course.

Students must make a “C” or higher in all courses which satisfy graduation requirements in order to receive the Technical Competency Area Certificate from BPCC.
