The Graphic Design Certificate of Technical Studies (CTS) program prepares graduates to work in a variety of graphic design environments. It prepares students to be creative professionals utilizing industry standard technology and techniques to generate commercial designs and digital art.

Learning Outcomes

Recipients of the Certificate of Technical Studies in Graphic Design will have demonstrated:

skills required for entry-level employment in graphic design related services; and
skills to comprehend and evaluate information related to the area of graphic design.

Second Semester: 15 Credit Hours

COMM 160:Photography Credit Hours: 3
COMM 219:Applied Graphic Design Credit Hours: 3
COMM 223:Publication Design Credit Hours: 3
