The Film Career and Technical Certificate (CTC) is designed for students interested in the area of film. The curriculum is designed to provide hands-on experience in all areas of film production.

Required Courses

COMM 130:Film Pre-Production Credit Hours: 3
COMM 202:Video Editing Credit Hours: 3
COMM 209:Scriptwriting for Film and Television Credit Hours: 3
COMM 280:Digital Cinema Production Credit Hours: 3
or
COMM 281:Documentary Filmmaking Credit Hours: 3

Total Credit Hours: 12

Students must meet prerequisites before taking any given course.

Students must make a “C” or higher in all courses which satisfy graduation requirements in order to receive the Career and Technical Certificate from BPCC.
