The Associate of Applied Science Business Office Administration degree program with a concentration in General Office provides students with a well-rounded selection of business courses that collectively prepare students for qualified entrance into management, marketing, and accounting fields.

Learning Outcomes:

Recipients of the Applied Associate in Business Office Administration (General Office) concentration will have demonstrated:

  1. understand standard office procedures and management systems.
  2. apply core accounting principles to business operations.
  3. create professional documents and presentations to be utilized in a business setting.
  4. develop skills related to entering and organizing data.
  5. practice professionalism and soft skills.

Required courses for the Associate of Applied Science in Business Office Administration, General Office Concentration:

 

Freshman Year


Sophomore Year


First Semester: 15 Hours


Second Semester: 15 Hours


Total Credit Hours: 60


*Students having three or more years of relevant work experience in a business setting or 15 or more hours of business courses may substitute a business elective for BADM 105.

** Any 200 level ACCT, BADM, or HCM course may be used as an elective.

*** For transfer to a four-year institution, students are strongly advised to take MATH 102 instead of MATH 101.. Students must seek the assistance of their advisor to determine the appropriate mathematics course.

This degree can be obtained 100% via Internet instruction. Contact your academic advisor for details.

Students must meet prerequisites before taking any given course.  Students must earn a minimum grade of “C” in each course required in the curriculum.

Students planning to transfer to another college or university should check with that college or university to determine the transferability of any course taken at BPCC. Not all courses listed on this academic plan will transfer to any other college or university.
