Mission of the Division of Business
The mission of the Division of Business at Bossier Parish Community College is to provide the citizens of Northwest Louisiana with outstanding faculty and educational resources that foster a creative environment for collaborative learning and innovative thinking. We will impart excellent instruction and be at the forefront of technologies, theories, and trends in order to prepare our students to succeed in a dynamic world and serve our community through cooperative partnerships.
The Division of Business offers 5 associate degrees, 5 certificates of technical studies, 1 technical diploma, and 2 career and technical certificates. You can study: Business Administration, Culinary Arts, Healthcare Management, Accounting Technology, Business Entrepreneurship, Legal Assistant, Retail Management and more. Many of the programs can be earned fully online and several in accelerated formats. All of our programs are linked below with descriptions, learning outcomes, and course requirements for completion. We are very interested in having you in our Division and we will work with you to help formulate and achieve your educational and career goals.
Information on Certified Professional Secretary Credit Examination
Up to 18 hours may be awarded to a student who successfully passes the Certified Professional Secretary examination and certified Administrative Professional examinations, which are administered by the International Association of Administrative Professionals.
