Residential wiring introduces students to wiring methods and material used in the residential construction industry. Students will develop fundamental knowledge of electrical wiring types and the components used in the residential industry. The course covers basic electrical system wiring, interpreting wire installation plans, handling non-metallic cable, understanding the application of basic components such as switches, outlets, and lighting, and connecting electrical services.
