YINF 112:Cyber Essentials Workshop Credit Hours: Non-Credit The Louisiana Cyber Education Center’s (LACEC) CYBERSECURITY ESSENTIALS WORKSHOP, powered by Cybint, is designed to tackle human error by providing learners with an advanced understanding and the skills to protect themselves and your organization against the most common cyber threats. This 4-hour live training program, that you will join remotely, will be led by an experienced instructor. You can expect to cover topics such as: Intro Cybersecurity, Accounts & Credentials, Remote Security (Wi-Fi & VPN), Social Engineering, Mobile Security, and Multiple Online Assessments. In addition to the workshop session, learners will have ongoing access to Cybint’s online training platform for a calendar year. YPRO 115:Real Estate 101: Pre-License Credit Hours: Non-Credit Lecture hours per week: 90 Are you ready for an exciting career change? Get the training you need to become a licensed real estate professional! This Louisiana Real Estate Commission-approved course prepares individuals pursuing a career in real estate for the Louisiana State licensing exam and satisfies the 90-hour education requirement to sit for the exam. It covers principles and practices of real estate, the Louisiana Real Estate License Law, the Law of Agency, Commission Rules and Regulations, and Civil Law as it pertains to real estate in Louisiana. Textbook and/or supplies required.
Bossier Parish Community College is a State Certified Real Estate School with a certified instructor (BPCC Certificate No. 0220). SALESPERSON LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
You must be at least 18 years of age.
You must have obtained a high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED).
You must show proof of successful completion of ninety (90) hours of real estate education in courses approved by the LREC.
You must comply with all application procedures required by the LREC.
You must pass the real estate salesperson licensing examination.
You must be sponsored by a licensed real estate broker and provide proof of errors and omissions insurance prior to license issuance.

You will be provided with everything you need to know to create magnificent floral arrangements with ease. Make several versions of bridal, corsage, funeral, holiday and party pieces. Take home beautiful arrangements after every class. Students will need to pay supply fee of $425.00 the first day of class. This fee covers cost of flowers, took kits and other supplies needed. This course will prepare you for the state floral exam. (Estimated cost of flowers: $300-$350).

YTRA 105:Commercial Vehicle Operations Credit Hours: Non-Credit Lecture hours per week: 80 This non-credit, 240-hour (80 hours of lecture/160 hours of lab) course prepares the learner for the knowledge exam and the three portions of the skills test to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Enrollment in the course is contingent upon clearance of health and safety checks. First week of class does not require the Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP), however, CLP must be obtained in order to continue in the course. CDL exam is included in the cost of the course. DOT physical, DOT drug screen, background check, and CLP application fee are not included in cost of course. Upon completion of the course and passing of both parts of the CDL exam, the learner must apply with the State Office of Motor Vehicles to obtain the CDL.
