Institutional Advancement

The Office of Institutional Advancement works in cooperation with the Office of the Chancellor to advance the mission of the College by developing strategic partnerships with business and industry and by securing funding from both private and public sources.

The department currently includes four distinct and important components:

Alumni Affairs

The Office of Alumni Affairs serves as a liaison between graduates, former students, the BPCC Foundation and the College. Through this office, continuous efforts are made to keep in touch with all members of the alumni family of the College. You are an alumni if you received a degree, diploma or certificate from BPCC or if you completed a class for professional or personal development. Visit www.bpccfoundation.org/alumni for more information.

Development

Within the Office of Institutional Advancement, a dedicated team of development professionals work to cultivate internal and external relationships and leverage opportunities for the College to be of maximum service to the community it serves.

BPCC Foundation, Inc.

The BPCC Foundation works with a volunteer Board of Directors to raise charitable contributions which support the mission of the College. Please visit the BPCC Foundation at www.bpccfoundation.org for more information. You may give to the BPCC Foundation at www.bpccfoundation.org/give.

Grants

The Grants Office assists administrators, faculty members, and staff in locating, proposing, submitting applications, and administering competitive external funds. The Director secures grant funding to provide faculty and staff professional development. Grants provide additional funding sources that allow administration, faculty and staff to increase the capacity of the College to meet the workforce learning needs of our students. The Grants Office assists project directors in maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations and College policies regarding grant funds.
